The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
