The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
