And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
