Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
