The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
