Anyone whom God lets go astray will thereafter have no protector whatsoever: you will see the wrongdoers, when they face the punishment, exclaiming, "Is there no way back?" 44 You should see them brought before the Fire, abject in disgrace, looking stealthily. And those who believe will say: "They who forfeit their souls and families on the Day of Resurrection will really be losers." Is it not that sinners will suffer a lasting torment? 45 They shall have no protectors to help them against Allah. For he whom Allah causes to go astray will have no way to save himself. 46 Respond to your Lord before a Day arrives that will not be averted [against God's will]. You will not find any refuge from God on that Day, nor will you have [any opportunity] to deny your sins. 47 So if they turn away from you, We have not sent you as a guardian over them; upon you is nothing but to convey (the message); and when We make man taste some mercy from Us, he rejoices upon it; and if some harm reaches them because of what their own hands have sent before, thereupon man is ungrateful! 48 God has control of the heavens and the earth; He creates whatever He will -- He grants female offspring to whoever He will, male to whoever He will, 49 or grants them a mix of males and females, and causes whomever He pleases to be barren. He is All- Knowing, All-Powerful. 50 ۞ It does not belong to any human that Allah should speak to him except by Revelation, or from behind a veil, or that He sends a Messenger to reveal whatsoever He will by His Permission. He is the High, the Wise. 51 Even so We revealed to you, (O Prophet), a spirit by Our command. (Ere to that) you knew neither what the Book nor what the faith was. But We made that spirit a light whereby We guide those of Our servants whom We please to the Right Way. Surely you are directing people to the Right Way, 52 The path of Allah, Whose is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Lo! unto Allah trend all affairs. 53
