Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
