1/4 Hizb 38

The Companions of the Wood rejected the messengers. 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 so fear God, and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 and [in all your dealings] weigh with a true balance, 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old." 184 They said: "Surely you are deluded. 185 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! 186 Cause, then, fragments of the sky to fall down upon us, if thou art a man of truth!" 187 Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do." 188 But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day! 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
