The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'aib said to them: "Will you not take heed? 177 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 178 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 And weigh with the true balance. 182 Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth. 183 and have fear of Him Who created you and the earlier generations." 184 They said, "You are no more than a bewitched and insane man 185 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 He said, “My Lord is Well Aware of what you do.” 188 They rejected him and then the torment of the gloomy day struck them. It was certainly a great torment. 189 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
