This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 The Trustworthy Spirit brought it down. (Angel Jibreel peace be upon him.) 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples. 196 Is it not a Sign to them - (to wit, the Makkans) - that the learned men of the Children of Israel know that? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 what avail will their past enjoyments be to them? 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 So do not call on any deity besides God, lest you incur His punishment. 213 And warn thy clan, thy nearest kin. 214 And be kind to him who follows you of the believers. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 who sees thee when thou standest [alone,] 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 who readily lend ear [to every falsehood,] and most of whom lie to others as well. 223 As for the poets, only those who go astray follow them. 224 Did you not see that they keep wandering in every valley? 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 Except those who believed and did good deeds, and profusely remembered Allah, and took revenge after they had been wronged*; and soon the unjust will come to know upon which side they will be overturned**. (* The Muslim poets who praise Allah and the Prophet. ** The disbelievers will be punished.) 227
Almighty Allah's Truth.
