Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
