The dwellers of the forest also rejected the messengers. 176 When Shu'eyb said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure and do not diminish the goods of people, 181 Weigh your goods with proper balance 182 Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth. 183 but be conscious of Him who has created you, just as [He created] those countless generations of old!" 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 You are only a human being like ourselves. Indeed we think you are a liar. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 He said: "My Lord is the Best Knower of what you do." 188 But they denied him, so there came on them the retribution of the day of gloom. Lo! it was the retribution of an awful day. 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
