And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 "Indeed we were promised this, we and our forefathers before, Verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 [But,] verily, thou canst not make the dead hear: and [so, too,] thou canst not make the deaf [of heart] hear this call when they turn their backs [on thee] and go away, 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
