The life of this world is nothing but sport and a diversion. It is the life of the Hereafter which is the only true life, if they but knew it. 64 Now, if they embark on a boat, they call on Allah, making their devotion sincerely (and exclusively) to Him; but when He has delivered them safely to (dry) land, behold, they give a share (of their worship to others)!- 65 In order to be ungrateful for Our favours; and to use the comforts; therefore they will soon come to know. 66 Have they not seen how We have granted them a safe sanctuary, though all around them people are snatched away? Would they still believe in falsehood, and deny the favour of God? 67 And who could be more wicked than he who attributes his own lying inventions to God, or gives the lie to the truth when it comes unto him [through revelation]? Is not hell the [proper] abode for all who [thus] deny the truth? 68 We shall certainly guide those who strive for Our cause to Our path. God is certainly with the righteous ones. 69
