Would that you could see the wrongdoers when they lower their heads before their Lord! They will say: 'Our Lord, we have now seen and heard. Send us back and we will do righteous deeds, we are certain' 12 (They will be told): “If We had so willed, We could have bestowed guidance on every person. But the Word from Me that I will fill Hell with men and jinn, all together, has been fulfilled. 13 Then taste you (the torment of the Fire) because of your forgetting the Meeting of this Day of yours, (and) surely! We too will forget you, so taste you the abiding torment for what you used to do. 14 The people who truly believe in Our messages are those who fall to the ground in prostration when they are reminded of them, and glorify their Lord with praise and are not arrogant. ۩ 15 whose sides forsake their couches as they supplicate to their Lord in fear and hope; who give in charity of that which We have given them. 16 Now no person knows what delights of the eye are kept hidden (in reserve) for them - as a reward for their (good) deeds. 17 Is then he who is a believer like him who is Fasiq (disbeliever and disobedient to Allah)? Not equal are they. 18 As for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, for them are Gardens (Paradise) as an entertainment, for what they used to do. 19 As for those who defy God, their home shall be the Fire. Whenever they try to escape it, they shall be driven back into it, and they shall be told, "Taste the torment of the Fire, which you have persistently denied." 20 And most surely We will make them taste a lesser punishment before the greater punishment, so that perhaps they may return to Us in repentance. 21 And who is more unjust than he who is given good counsel through the Signs of his Lord and yet he turns away from them? Surely We will exact full retribution from such criminals. 22
