We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
