And indeed We bestowed the Book to Moosa, therefore have no doubt in its acquisition, and made it a guidance for the Descendants of Israel. 23 We appointed some of the Israelites as leaders for their exercising patience to guide the others to Our commands. They had firm belief in Our revelations. 24 On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will distinguish between them that on which they varied. 25 Was it not a lesson for them, (the unbelievers), that We destroyed the many generations living before them among whose ruined dwellings they are now walking. In this there is many evidence (of the truth). Will they not then listen? 26 Have they not seen that We drive water to the parched land, thereby bringing forth crops which they and their cattle eat? Are they unable to see? 27 They say: “If you are truthful, (tell us) when will the Judgement come?” 28 Say: 'On the Day of Victory their faith shall not profit the unbelievers, nor shall they be respited.' 29 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), and await (the event). Lo! they (also) are awaiting (it). 30
