۞ Say thou: I but exhort you unto one thing: that ye stand, for Allah's sake, by twos and singly, and then ponder; in your companion there is no madness; he is naught but a warner unto you preceding a torment severe. 46 Say, "Whatever reward I ask you (for my preaching) will be for your own good. No one can reward me except God. He is the Witness over all things." 47 Say, "My Lord speaks the Truth. He has the knowledge of the unseen". 48 Proclaim, “The truth has come, and falsehood dare not commence nor return.” 49 Say: "If I am in error it is to my own loss; if I am on guidance that is so because of what my Lord reveals to me. He is all-hearing and all-too-near." 50 And couldst thou see the time when they shall be terrified! Then there shall be no escaping, and they shall be laid hold of from a place quite nigh. 51 and then they will say, "We have faith in the Quran." How can they have any faith when they are far away from this world. 52 They had rejected it in their worldly life and expressed disbelief at the unseen (Day of Judgment), considering it less than a remote possibility. 53 And a barrier is set between them and that which they desire, as it was done before with their like; they were in suspicious doubt' 54
