It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
