The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Alif Lam Mim 1 This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah - 2 who believe in the unseen, establish the Salats and expend (in Our way) out of what We have bestowed on them; 3 who have faith in what has been revealed to you and others before you and have strong faith in the life hereafter. 4 These are guided by their Lord; these surely are the prosperous. 5 Those who disbelieve, whether you forewarn them or not, they will not believe. 6 Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing and there is a covering over their eyes, and there is a great punishment for them. 7
