۞ O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise. 15 If He will, He can be rid of you and bring (instead of you) some new creation. 16 And this not at all difficult for Allah. 17 And a burdened soul cannot bear the burden of another and if one weighed down by burden should cry for (another to carry) its burden, not aught of it shall be carried, even though he be near of kin. You warn only those who fear their Lord in secret and keep up prayer; and whoever purifies himself, he purifies himself only for (the good of) his own soul; and to Allah is the eventual coming. 18 The blind and the sighted are not equal, 19 nor are the depths of darkness and the light; 20 shade and heat are not alike, 21 nor are the living and the dead. God causes whom He will to hear Him, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear you. 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 Lo! We have sent thee with the Truth, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner; and there is not a nation but a warner hath passed among them. 24 And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment. 25 then I seized the unbelievers, and how was My horror! 26
