Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 on a straight path, 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
