I swear by that which ye see. 38 and by what you do not see, 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
