Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHATSOEVER IS IN the heavens and the earth sings the praises of God. He is all-mighty and all-wise. 1 His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He giveth life and He causeth to die; and He is over everything Potent. 2 He is the First and the Last, and the Outward and the Inward, and He is of everything the Knower. 3 It is He who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein; and He is with you wherever you are. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing. 4 His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to Him are all matters referred (for judgement). 5 He causes the night to pass into the day, and causes the day to pass into the night, and He fully knows all that is hidden in the breasts of people. 6 Believe in Allah and His apostle, and expend of that whereof He hath made you successors to. Those of you who believe and expend - theirs shall be a great hire. 7 Why is it that you do not believe in Allah, when the Messenger calls on you to believe in your Lord, and He has made a covenant with you if you are believers? 8 It is He who sends down clear verses to His worshiper, so that He brings you out of the darkness into the light. Indeed, Allah is the Gentle, the Most Merciful to you. 9 And what reason have you that you should not spend in Allah's way? And Allah's is the inheritance of the heavens and the earth, not alike among you are those who spent before the victory and fought (and those who did not): they are more exalted in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards; and Allah has promised good to all; and Allah is Aware of what you do. 10
