Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a straight path. 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
