Nooh 2 of 2
Noah said: My Lord! Lo! they have disobeyed me and followed one whose wealth and children increase him in naught save ruin; 21 they have devised a mighty plot, 22 And said: 'Do not abandon your gods, and do not abandon Wadda or Suwa', or Yaghuth, Ya'uq or Nasr.' 23 And they have led many astray, and Thou increasest the wrong-doers in naught save error. 24 Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of Allah- none to help them. 25 And Noah prayed: "O my Sustainer! Leave not on earth any of those who deny the truth: 26 Surely, if Thou leavest them, they will lead Thy servants astray, and will beget none but unbelieving libertines. 27 Lord! Forgive me and my parents and every true believer who enters my house, forgive all the believing men and believing women; and bestow no increase upon the wrongdoers except in ruin? 28
