▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

Do not suppose that the unbelievers have outstripped (Allah). They cannot frustrate Me. 59 Make ready for them whatever force and strings of horses you can, to terrify thereby the enemy of God and your enemy, and others besides them that you know not; God knows them. And whatsoever you expend in the way of God shall be repaid you in full; you will not be wronged. 60 ۞ If they incline to peace, incline to it also, and put your trust in Allah. Surely, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 61 If they try to cheat you, God is surely sufficient for you. It is He who has strengthened you with His help and with believers 62 And (as for the believers) hath attuned their hearts. If thou hadst spent all that is in the earth thou couldst not have attuned their hearts, but Allah hath attuned them. Lo! He is Mighty, Wise. 63 O Prophet! Allah is Sufficient for thee and those who follow thee of the believers. 64
