Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 On the Straight Path. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
