Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a right way. 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
