And a sign unto them is the dead land. We quicken it and thereout We bring forth grain, so that thereof they eat. 33 and produced therein grains from which they eat and established therein gardens of palms trees and vineyards and have made streams flow therein 34 that they might eat of its fruits and their hands' labour. What, will they not be thankful? 35 All glory to Him who created pairs of everything that grows from the earth, and out of themselves, and other things they do not know. 36 And a sign for them is the night, We withdraw therefrom the day, and behold, they are in darkness. 37 While the sun keeps revolving in its orbit. This is the dispensation of the mighty, all-knowing (God). 38 We have determined the stations of the moon, so that (after its wanderings) it returns as a dried up inflorescent spike of dates. 39 how the sun is not supposed to catch-up with the moon, nor is the night to precede the day. All of them are to float in a certain orbit; 40 And [it ought to be] a sign for them that We bear their offspring [over the seas] in laden ships, 41 And We have created for them the like of it in which they board. 42 Should We so wish, We can drown them, and there will be none to heed their cries of distress, nor will they be rescued. 43 except Our mercy which could enable them to enjoy themselves for an appointed time. 44 When they are told, "Fear ye that which is before you and that which will be after you, in order that ye may receive Mercy," (they turn back). 45 Yet there never comes to them any sign of their Lord's signs, but they turn away from it. 46 And when it is said to them, "Spend from that which Allah has provided for you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error." 47 They also say: 'When will this promise be, if what you say is true' 48 They await but one Shout, which will surprise them while they are disputing. 49 Then they will not be able to make bequest, nor they will return to their family. 50
