The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 With a driving fusillade, and theirs shall be a torment perpetual; 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
