The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 By the angels driving away. 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily your God is One. 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 And they do not understand, when explained to. 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
