1/2 Hizb 45

۞ “Gather all the unjust persons and their spouses, and all that they used to worship!” 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 And stop them, for they must be questioned. 24 'Why do you not help one another? 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 but [since it will be too late,] they will turn upon one another, demanding of each other [to relieve them of the burden of their past sins]. 27 They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth). 28 They will say: "No, you were the ones who would not believe. 29 We had no power over you, but ye were wayward folk. 30 The statement of Our Lord is realized against us, and we are tasting it, 31 Therefore we perverted you, and we ourselves were perverts.' 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 Indeed, when it was said to them, “There is no God except Allah”, they were haughty. 35 and would say: "Shall we, then, give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 Nay, but he [whom you call a mad poet] has brought the truth; and he confirms the truth of [what the earlier of God's] message-bearers [have taught]. 37 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, 38 You will only be recompensed according to your deeds.” 39 Save single-minded slaves of Allah; 40 Those! theirs shall be a provision known: 41 fruits of various kinds; and they shall be honoured, 42 in the Gardens of Bliss 43 On couches facing one another; 44 a goblet from a spring shall be passed round to them 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 There shall be no trouble in it, nor shall they be exhausted therewith. 47 And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; 48 As though they were eggs hidden. 49 They will turn to each other and ask questions. 50 A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade 51 Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe 52 (Do you think) we would be paid back our due when we are dead and reduced to dust and bones?' 53 Allah will say: will ye look down? 54 He therefore looked down and saw him amidst the blazing fire. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 And but for the favour of my lord, I should have been of those brought forward. 57 Are we not then to die 58 "Except our first death, and we shall not be punished? (after we have entered Paradise)." 59 Lo! this is the supreme triumph. 60 For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers, etc.). 63 For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hellfire: 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 On top of it they shall have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then thereafter, verily, their return is to the flaming fire of Hell. 68 They found their fathers had gone astray; 69 and they run in their footsteps. 70 Most of the ancient people had also gone astray. 71 and We sent among them warners; 72 Therefore see what sort of fate befell those who were warned! 73 Not so the chosen servants of God. 74
