1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 instead of God, and lead them all onto the way to the blazing fire, 23 "But stop them, for they must be asked: 24 What is the matter with you that you do not help each other? 25 Nay, but this day they make full submission. 26 And they will turn to one another, and question one another. 27 saying: 'You used to come to us from the right hand' 28 They will say: nay! ye yourselves were not believers. 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 The sentence of our Lord has come true for us. We have certainly to taste (the punishment), 31 Therefore we perverted you, and we ourselves were perverts.' 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 This is how We deal with the guilty. 34 for, behold, whenever they were told, "There is no deity save God," they would glory in their arrogance 35 And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?” 36 Not in the least. He has brought the truth and confirmed the other messengers. 37 You shall certainly taste the painful punishment: 38 And you shall not be rewarded except (for) what you did. 39 But the bondmen of Allah, the sincere ones 40 For them is a Sustenance determined, 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 In Gardens of Felicity, 43 On thrones facing one another. 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 Clear, delicious to drink, 46 There will neither be any harm in it for their body nor will it intoxicate their mind. 47 And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes. 48 As though they were eggs hidden. 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 One of them speaks thus: "Behold, I had [on earth] a close companion 51 who would say, "Are you a confirmer? 52 [that] after we have died and become mere dust and bones we shall, forsooth, be brought to judgment?"' 53 He will say: -- Do you wish to know where he is now?' 54 Then he will look and see him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He said, “By Allah, you had nearly ruined me!” 56 Had I not the guidance of my Lord, I would certainly have been brought into torment". 57 Then, are we not to die 58 Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" 59 This is indeed the mighty triumph, 60 It is for the like of this that all should strive. 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers, etc.). 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. 65 on it they shall feed, and with it they shall fill their bellies. 66 Then most surely they shall have after it to drink of a mixture prepared in boiling water. 67 Then surely their return is towards hell. 68 They had indeed found their forefathers astray. 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, 71 And certainly We sent among them warners. 72 See how terrible was the end of those who were warned. 73 Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 74
