The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
