Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 Allah will increase those who were guided in guidance and things that abide. Good deeds are better in reward with your Lord, and, better in return. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
