3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 and he turned to their idols and asked them, "Do you eat? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones. 102 When they both agreed and Abraham had lain down his son on the side of his face (for slaughtering), 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
