3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer. 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 We perpetuated his praise in later generations. 78 Peace on Noah among all men. 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 Thereafter We caused the others to be drowned. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 And when he reached the age of traveling with him, he said: 'My son, while I was sleeping I saw that I shall slaughter (sacrifice) you, tell me what is your opinion' He replied: 'Father, do as you are ordered (by Allah). Allah willing, you shall find me one of those who are steadfast' 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 He is truly among Our faithful creatures. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
