And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
