And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
