O you who believe! do not devour usury, making it double and redouble, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, that you may be successful. 130 And have fear of the Fire which awaits those who deny the Truth. 131 And obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) that you may obtain mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with each other in hastening to obtain forgiveness from your Lord and toward the Garden whereof the width equalleth the heavens and the earth, gotten ready for the God-fearing 133 Those who spend (of that which Allah hath given them) in ease and in adversity, those who control their wrath and are forgiving toward mankind; Allah loveth the good; 134 and those who, if they commit indecency or wrong themselves remember Allah and ask forgiveness of their sins for who but Allah forgives sins and those who do not persist in what they do while they know. 135 Those! their meed is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens whereunder rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. Excellent is the hire of the workers! 136 Indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what was the end of the rejecters. 137 This (Quran) is a reminder for the people and a guide and advice for the pious. 138 So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith. 139 If ye have received a blow, the (disbelieving) people have received a blow the like thereof. These are (only) the vicissitudes which We cause to follow one another for mankind, to the end that Allah may know those who believe and may choose witnesses from among you; and Allah loveth not wrong-doers. 140 And that Allah may test (or purify) the believers (from sins) and destroy the disbelievers. 141 Or, deem ye that ye shall enter the Garden while yet Allah hath not known those of you who have striven hard nor yet known the steadfast! 142 And certainly you desired death before you met it, so indeed you have seen it and you look (at it) 143
