We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
