And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night.
