Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
