The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 And those who recite the message, 3 surely, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say thou: and verily ye; shall then be despicable. 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
