Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
