And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
