We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
