Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
