And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
